The last steps of setting up our guitars included installing the bridge and strings, cutting them to length and setting the proper heights of the strings by filing down the bone nut slots. We then put string trees on the first-fourth strings to create break angle coming off the nut to prevent string buzz. The last step was tuning and intonation, making the open and closed twelfth fret the same note. One lesson I really enjoyed from this class was learning about the circuits and electronics in a guitar. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the class and the people I experienced it with.
